Omani Women's Day is not only a celebration but also a tribute to strength, wisdom, and dedication. To honour this special occasion, USP organized a heartfelt celebration on Thursday, October 16, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Under the theme “Honouring Women, Embracing Diversity”, the event reflected USP's appreciation for women's contributions and its commitment to building an inclusive and supportive workplace culture.


The event began with a warm welcome speech by the hostess, who highlighted the importance of this special day established by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said (may his soul rest in peace) to recognize women's vital role in shaping Oman's future.


The first session invited participants to explore traditional Omani beauty tools, including henna, sandalwood, and rose water. They shared the cultural meanings behind these items, offering insight into the timeless elegance and inner beauty of Omani women.


Following the cultural showcase, a doctor from Lifeline Hospital delivered an informative health session on breast cancer awareness and self-examination. The session emphasized the importance of regular screening, early detection, and proper self-check techniques, encouraging all women to take proactive steps toward safeguarding their health.

The pottery cup painting session brought the celebration to its most joyful moment. In a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere, participants freely expressed their creativity, producing vibrant and imaginative designs that reflected their personality and artistic flair. The session was filled with laughter, conversation, and colourful memories.


A beautifully designed Omani heritage photo corner became a favourite spot. The corner allowed everyone to immerse themselves in the rich cultural essence of Oman while capturing joyful memories together.

The celebration concluded with traditional Omani delicacies and a customized cake, bringing the afternoon to a sweet and memorable close. Many participants shared that the event allowed them to experience the beauty of Omani traditions while feeling deeply appreciated and valued by the company.


Through this celebration, USP reaffirmed its commitment to diversity, inclusion, and cultural appreciation, paying tribute to all women whose wisdom and strength continue to inspire others.
